PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away." This means that what Jesus declared in John 3:16 is as true for you today as it was when He first spoke it:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jesus has already done everything needed to set you free from a life of sin and darkness. He paid the ultimate price that sin demanded and went to hell in your place. But He didn’t stay there. He stripped the devil of his power, rose from the dead, and triumphed over all the forces of darkness. Now, Jesus is inviting you to share in His victory by accepting His offer to become part of God’s family.
If you're ready to begin a new life with a new identity in Christ, pray this:
God, I come to You with an open heart, acknowledging that I need You. I confess that I have sinned by living for myself. But today, I turn away from my past and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that He rose again, defeating death.
I accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Please come into my heart, and guide me on this new journey of faith. Help me to live a life that honors You and reflects Your love. Thank You for the gift of salvation and for welcoming me into Your family. In Jesus' name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
Now that you’re part of God's family, know this: when Jesus ascended to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. Right now, the Holy Spirit is living in you! But there’s also a deeper experience—a special infilling called the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Through this baptism, you receive His power, His fire, and His divine empowerment to be a bold witness for Jesus on the earth.
With this baptism, you’ll also receive a prayer language, often referred to as "other tongues," which you can use anytime, anywhere, to communicate with God in a new, powerful way!
Pray this today:
I come before You in faith, desiring more of You. I thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and now I ask for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. Just as You promised in Your Word, I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit, to empower me for service, and to ignite a holy fire within my soul.
I surrender my heart, mind, and tongue to You, and I ask for the evidence of speaking in tongues as a sign of Your presence and power in my life. Let Your Spirit overflow in me, giving me boldness, wisdom, and the ability to walk in Your gifts. I trust that as I open my mouth in faith, You will fill me with Your words, enabling me to speak in a new heavenly language.
Holy Spirit, take complete control of my life, leading me into all truth and setting me ablaze for the glory of Jesus. I receive this gift now by faith, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
