Why should I pray for my Pastor?

I had this working so strong in me recently — why we pray specifically for our pastor:

• So that we get what Heaven is saying, not what man wants to think up!

• It’s the same for praise and worship – the best is what flows straight from Heaven…

What you prayed in private is now coming out publicly — and not necessarily through you. But the beautiful thing about that is you got to be part of a great synchronization that was not built by flesh but was totally orchestrated by the Spirit of the Lord! And then the next thing, that faucet opens and whoosh! The deluge of Heaven just pours on us!...

I’m telling you — to pull out

that revelation of Heaven,

there has to be prayer!

To build a bridge between men’s hearts,

there has to be prayer!

To know things we would never know

unless God reveal it to us!

There has to be prayer

to hit keys,

to open doors

and shut gates!

There has to be prayer,

fueling it,

undergirding it,

to give the word of the Lord,

to give a prophetic word,

to bring the song of the Lord!

There has to be prayer

that produces a reservoir!

And that reservoir is not boxed by God,

but is limited to the prayer of man….

Open! Open it!

Open unto us a door of utterance!

Making known the mystery!

Making known and bringing a revelation!

Uncovering secrets!

Things held back!

Things held up!

Things which were covered now uncovered!

That unction!

That free speech

born of the Spirit!!
