Power Words
Did you know that your voice is your address. Every time you open your mouth and speak, you give God an address to manifest where you are! That's why the saints should never be silent!
We should always have something to say. His praise should be continually on our lips — and that means in church as well. We've become so used to being silent in church, with the occasional amen. I'm encouraging you — be your pastor's delight. It doesn't matter what he's saying — be in the amen corner; be the shouter!
You may say, “I'm too reserved for that.”
There's power in your amen!
You're not reserved — you've got the Holy Ghost! And if you've got the Holy Ghost; you're a fighter on legs! The proof of the Holy Ghost upon you is that the anointing changes you into a different person — and you become bold as a lion in the Name of Jesus!
When you say Amen, you're actually saying, "I agree." We can even say it's a ping of your address, "Let it be recorded that I submit to what God says and receive it in my life!" Practice it, when you're reading your Bible. Stop and say, "Amen, I receive that."
Don't just think your agreement, speak it!
Genesis 1:2 tells us that in the beginning, the earth was without form or void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God SAID: “Let there be light” — and there was light! (v. 3)
Let me tell you, the Spirit is still hovering today! The mighty Holy Ghost is ready to bring order. He’s ready to bring light. He is ready to bring order where there is chaos, where there is a void. That means the Spirit of God is waiting for the Church — for you! — to SPEAK and to declare the word of the Lord!!
