Praying in Tongues Helps You Receive Answers  

I believe the Spirit of the Lord is beckoning and wooing the Church to trust Him.

A lot of times we want to stay just in our mind and pray about things we know, but we're just rummaging around the “same old, same old.” We're just rehashing the same old, same old; praying about the same old, same old; doing the same old, same old; and getting the same old, same old results.

But I don't want the same old, same old results. I'm looking for answers in 2025!

Are you looking for answers to some things in your life? You're going to find answers by praying in tongues! The Spirit of the Lord can speak to you.

The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 1:17 (AMPC): “For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him.”

Paul didn't just say, “That He may grant you wisdom...” He prayed for believers to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation, something that they did not have before — insight into mysteries, secrets, and a deep and intimate knowledge of Him.

Now, God can do whatever He needs to do, speak to us in whatever way He wants to speak. But He's given us an invitation to work with Him by the vehicle of praying in tongues so that revelation can come. I believe when we get in the presence of the Lord, that's the place where revelation sparks and comes alive to us!

“For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].” (1 Cor. 14:2 AMPC)
