Bank Your Prayers
I believe it was what Daniel already banked in prayer that saved him in the lions’ den.
“Then Daniel said to the king, O king, live forever! My God has sent His angel and has shut the lions’ mouths, so they have not hurt me.” (Dan. 6:21-22)
You ask, “We can bank prayers?” Yes, I believe that you can get so ahead of the game that no matter what is going on around you, even if it's negative, you are walking in what you prayed out.
Ask yourself a question: “Am I living in what I've banked in prayer? Or am I in the danger zone, just living out of what other people pray for me?”
I believe that Daniel’s outcome in the lions’ den was in direct connection to how he prayed. Daniel’s worship and prayer life positioned him in such favor and authority that even creation obeyed God's will on his behalf.
In other words, never underestimate the power of prayer!
Some people feel like they've just had a little time with God.
But you have not had a little time with God!
You have worked with the Architect of the universe!
He is the One who knows!
The One who is, the One who was!
And I hear it in the Spirit:
You need to start banking prayer again in the Name of Jesus!
Be so oiled up that when the enemy tries to grab hold of you,
you slip right through his fingers!
Anointed with fresh oil! (Ps. 92:10)
I believe that you're in a time of declarations.
You're in a time of decreeing.
But that isn’t your prayer life.
Declaring and decreeing does not build a relationship —
it's the use of your authority.
But it is relationship and fellowship
that gives you the confidence to know that God will back you,
to know that you heard it in prayer.
To know that when you step up to do it,
He is going to back you!
As for Daniel, he was completely resolute.
He was not going to be moved.
He was not going to be budged.
It was what it was.
If the lion chomped him, so be it.
But Daniel stepped into the lion’s den out of his prayer
and into what he had already made firm.
He was coming out of that lion’s den!.
God was at work!!
